| The nicest thing about Wellington is its compactness, thus we're able to cover many places without having to walk far, or drive at all! This is the cable car ($3.60 return trip) that starts from the arcades of Lambton Quay below up to Kelburn, overlooking Wellington city. Up here is a small museum, an observatory and botanic garden. |  |
