| A beach at Bay of Islands. Not sure if we came to the right spot but I certainly wasn't that impressed by this one. Admittedly it's nice and the water's clear but I find it a little too commercialised (reminds me of Batu Ferringhi). Perhaps that's the reason people flocked here to enjoy all the water activities. Perhaps we're missing out a lot from really enjoying this place due to our really tight schedule. With the daylight getting shorter, we had to rush over to the west coast and drive down to Dargaville before heading back to Whangarei and it was 3pm by then. |
