PD shot
After the extra talk that we gave on Sunday morning, we had lunch and as everyone else left Tiara Beach resort, Andrew and I took some time off for a well-deserved R & R in the pool and experimented with some shots, one of which is this.
Fun in Penang

On our way back to KL, we spotted this old sago mill when we took the old highway road (somewhere before Ipoh I think). Andrew and I went down to take some shots and as we got bolder and walked into the mill (reminded us of the train depot thing we did last time), we met an uncle who's still working on a Sunday. I really like this shot despite the noise because I thought it captured the feeling of the place. It was really dark to get any good photo so this was a desperate attempt.
I ran this photo through Photoshop's Shadow Highlight and am quite satisfied with the result, which made it look like an old photo.
Guess I was really lucky during the trip back to Penang for the D80 northern workshop that I caught someone else's flash both times! Here are the proof:

Andrew's D70s built-in flash went off as I took this photo. Note the unusually bright spot on the floor, also on Andrew's arm.
